A successful business is all about how you approach your day
Imagine this scenario.
Your business is doing great. You are achieving your goals, things are moving in the right direction, and overall, you feel more proud of what you have accomplished this year.
But let’s keep it real. you are so too feeling a bit burned out from pouring every ounce of your soul into your business and then some things start to slip because… you are a living, breathing human being.
Maybe you pack your days so tightly that you absolutely have no room to breatheor are you losing focus on the tasks at hand because your mind is constantly occupied with something else. Or maybe you are feel overwhelmed and disorganizedand have no idea where to begin.
Can you relate?
I don’t know about you, but around this time of year, at the end of the 1st trimester, I tend to get a little carried away, and because of that, start ignore goals and intentions that I set for myself at the beginning of the year. And if you’ve been a listener for a while, you probably know that my goals underpin my entire business – and I keep them front and center (so they stare almost unobtrusively at my face every day).
That’s why in this short episode I’m sharing my list of three things you can avoid does stay on top of your gameand move forward with a clear mind and ready to take on that new product launch, podcast, rebranding, or whatever goals you’ve set for yourself and your business.
It’s time to toughen up buddy, are you ready?
Here’s a look at the episode…
- (02:14) It’s that time of year when Q1 or New Year’s goals can slip and you can feel overwhelmed or disorganized.
- (03:14) You don’t want to set all your goals for Q1 or Q2. You should share them throughout the year.
- (04:49) Avoid the work day without finishing having a plan for the next day on your calendar. Allow time for each scheduled task.
- (09:40) Avoid a complicated morning routine. I’m a big fan of a morning routine, but it needs to be simple so I can ease into the morning.
- (14:03) Don’t pack your day so heavy that you literally can’t breathe. I have full days, but I add buffers to my calendar so I can take a minute to myself.
