Something changed for me when I entered my 60s. I was excited about the new possibilities and potential. I was surprised that I would feel this way. The messages I received from my family were concerning limitation and what we could not do or achieve after 50 years.
However, aging is not fading; it’s about blossoming into the best version of you. Every year brings new wisdom, new strength, and yes, new beauty. As women over 60, we’re in the most powerful phase of our lives, where we can embrace who we really are. the journey and feel fabulous during.
It’s time to stop aging as something to fear or fight against. Instead, let’s see aging as an opportunity to thrive, grow in self-confidence, and treat ourselves with the love and care it deserves. After all, feeling fabulous isn’t the number on your birth certificate, it’s how you are how you feel within yourself, how you take care of yourself, and how you embrace the unique beauty that comes with each year.
#1. The wisdom of aging. Including travel
Aging is a privilege that not everyone gets. My father died in my thirties and my mother only lived to be in my seventies. I feel happy to be here. I still have so much I want to experience and do. With each passing year we gain more wisdom, more endurance, and a deeper understanding of who we are.
We have weathered the storms, we have climbed our personal mountains and here we are ready to face the new day with courage, gratitude and hope in our hearts. As we age, we are given the opportunity to focus less on trying to meet the expectations of others and more on living authentically.

It’s time to say “Yes” to yourself to your dreams, your visions, and your life’s journey. My mother put the needs of everyone in the family before herself. I remember watching her go above and beyond to make someone else happy and be left exhausted and drained at the end of the day. Self-esteem was just not in her vocabulary.
