The Ministry of Energy has developed a draft emergency ordinance that will establish a program to grant state subsidies to block property owners’ associations, for the installation of solar panels and storage systems for the electricity produced by them, the ‘energy intended for the consumption of the condominiums, ie of the common areas in them.
The legislative initiative was launched simultaneously with a pilot project of PPC Energie, a profile supplier in Romania of the Greeks from PPC, which implements an integrated solution of electricity production with photovoltaic panels and battery storage, to test, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, the operation in real conditions of such an installation, in a type of urban community with characteristics often found in Romania.
