Physicist Cristian Presură complained on Saturday night that a Romanian TV station violated the law by campaigning a day before the vote, and that he compared his comments on the possibility of extraterrestrial life on other planets with those made by Călin Georgescu.
“Tonight, the lady in the popular costume of Reality TV played an old interview of mine where I say that there could be aliens on distant exoplanets. “So what’s wrong with Georgescu?” she asks rhetorically, “he noted Presura on his Facebook page, referring to the presenter Anca Alexandrescu from the station Realitatea Plus.
“The difference between me and Călin Georgescu, the president of the bazaconii, is that he claims to have met with them, I haven’t!” Leave aside the fact that Reality TV is breaking the law by airing the day before the vote,” he added.
Realitatea TV referred to an interview given in 2018 by Professor Presură for HotNews.ro, hosted by the editor-in-chief of HotNews, Clarice Dinu, and Ionuț Băiaș, a former editor of HotNews.
Călin Georgescu has distinguished himself in several online videos with his statements regarding a possible meeting with extraterrestrials at the UN.
“I had some direct opportunities, including some very serious discussions, in some negotiations, together with a team that led from the UN, and what I can tell you is that I met a different species. En aucun cas une espèce humaine”, said Călin Georgescu on one of the occasions.
