After losing ground in the title race, RB Leipzig will aim to bounce back when they host a resurgent Wolfsburg on Saturday at Red Bull Arena in their 12 Bundesliga match of the season.
Die Roten Bullen are third in the league with 21 points and their 4-3 loss against Hoffenheim on November 23 left them eight points behind leaders Bayern Munich, while the visitors are 11th with 15 points and beat Union Berlin 1-0 last Saturday.
We say: RB Leipzig 1-1 Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg have been excellent on the road this season and are in good overall form, which makes it difficult to see them losing on Saturday.
Leipzig have struggled for results of late, but given their strong performances in the Bundesliga at home, they should be confident of at least avoiding defeat.

Two teams seeking to climb into the top six of the Bundesliga table meet at Weserstadion on Saturday afternoon as Werder Bremen play host to Stuttgart.
The River Islanders and Die Roten butt heads for the first time since April when the former won this exact fixture by a 2-1 scoreline.
We say: Werder Bremen 2-2 Stuttgart
Hoeness will be seeking an immediate response from his Stuttgart players following their heavy midweek defeat, and Die Roten will back themselves to claim a positive result against an inconsistent Werder Bremen side.
There is little to separate these two teams, though, and we can see an entertaining end-to-end contest being played out in Bremen, with the spoils being shared on this occasion.

Freiburg are set to take on Borussia Monchengladbach at home in their 12th Bundesliga game of the season on Saturday at Europa-Park Stadion.
The hosts are seventh with 17 points but lost 4-0 against Borussia Dortmund on November 23, while Die Fohlen are in sixth place and level on points with their opponents following their 2-0 victory against St Pauli on November 24.
We say: Freiburg 3-1 Borussia Monchengladbach
Freiburg will come into the clash full of confidence given their strong performances of late, and they will feel they can take advantage of a struggling Borussia Monchengladbach side.
Additionally, the visitors will be weakened by the absence of those who received suspensions last time out, and it is difficult to see how they avoid defeat.

Augsburg will hope to distance themselves from the relegation zone when they host last-placed VfL Bochum on Saturday at WWK Arena in their 12th Bundesliga match of their 2024-25 campaign.
The home team are fifth last in 14th place with 12 points and were beaten 3-0 by leaders Bayern Munich on November 23, whereas their opponents are in 18th place with just two points and lost 2-0 against Stuttgart on November 23.
We say: Augsburg 3-1 VfL Bochum
Despite losing last time out, Augsburg are in good overall form and boast an excellent record at home.
Additionally, considering Bochum are yet to win any match this season, it would be surprising if they left WWK Arena with any points.

Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen will hope to continue winning ways in order to defend their Bundesliga crown when they travel to face Union Berlin at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei on Saturday in their 12th league game of 2024-25.
The hosts are 10th with 16 points after 11 matches and were beaten 1-0 by Wolfsburg on November 23, while Leverkusen are only in fourth place with 20 points but did triumph 5-2 against Heidenheim last Saturday.
We say: Union Berlin 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen
Following their resounding victory in the Champions League, Leverkusen will come into Saturday’s match full of confidence.
Though Union Berlin boast a strong home record, the visitors have also been resilient on the road and it would not be surprising if they claimed all three points.

The 136th instalment of Der Klassiker will take centre stage at Westfalenstadion on Saturday evening as Borussia Dortmund play host to Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.
This weekend’s showdown will see a Dortmund side with the strongest home record so far this season (W6 D0 L0) take on a Bayern outfit with the best away record (W5 D1 L0).
We say: Borussia Dortmund 1-3 Bayern Munich
Bayern have been unstoppable and impenetrable in recent weeks, and they will be regarded as firm favourites to come out on top this weekend, even with Dortmund having turned their fortunes around in recent weeks.
The Bavarian visitors have only failed to score three or more goals in one of their six away league games so far this season, and we can envisage Kompany’s side having more joy in front of goals against a Dortmund side who have conceded in 11 of their 17 matches in all competitions this term and at least twice on six occasions.
