The Central Electoral Office (BEC) rejected on Saturday, in the meeting, all appeals and references requesting the annulment of the parliamentary elections, according to official sources, cited by News.ro.
Five notifications were presented to the institution, aimed at the campaign of the new formation, POT (Partidul Oamenilor Tineri), which passed the electoral limit.

And Vlad Gheorghe, the founder of the DREPT party, presented on Friday to the High Court of Cassation and Justice (ICCJ) a request to cancel the parliamentary elections, arguing that this election also took place under the “hybrid war” for which the Constitutional. The SENS party, which failed to pass the necessary threshold to enter the Parliament, had requested the cancellation of the parliamentary elections due to electoral fraud in the case of the radical right-wing formation POT (Youth Party). At the same time, the training argued that the decision of the CCR shows that “we are a pillar of democracy in Eastern Europe and that no external actor can be involved in the internal politics of Romania.”
SENS, a group supported by MEP Nicu Ştefănuţă, announced on Friday that it had submitted a complaint to the BEC to request both the recount of the votes in certain constituencies and the annulment of the parliamentary elections due to electoral fraud, formulated strictly related to the POT party. .
“Our complaint, which has existed since December 4, was precisely about the application of the same illegal practices in the light of the European Commission’s investigation and the relevant suspicion of the interference of an external state actor in the electoral process. We await the decisions also in the case of the parliamentary elections”, according to a SENS statement.
The Central Electoral Office for the election of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies in 2024 announced earlier that it concluded, in the meeting of December 4, the minutes concerning the seven political parties, organizations of citizens belonging to national minorities, political or electoral alliances. alliances that meet the electoral threshold in the elections for the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
