Warning! This article contains spoilers for Squid Game season 2.
It is hard not to foresee how Kim Jun-hee’s pregnancy story in Squid Game season 2 is going to end tragically. Like season 1, Squid Game season 2 introduces a diverse set of players in its early moments, highlighting how each of them is in desperate need of money to make ends meet. Some of these new Squid Game characters leave their morals behind and set out to win the game at all costs. Others, in contrast, retain their sense of humanity even after they enter the gruesome survival games.
Kim Jun-hee falls in the latter category as she intends to cause no harm to anyone else. She is portrayed as a pregnant woman who ends up joining Gi-hun and the other heroes during the games. Although her pregnancy is perceived as a liability by many contestants at the games, Jang Geum-ja tries to look out for her while the main heroes ensure her safety in some of the more brutal games. Kim Jun-hee eventually survives the entire Squid Game season, but her pregnancy storyline seems to be heading in a harrowing direction.
There’s No Way Squid Game Season 2’s Pregnancy Story Has A Happy Ending
Squid Game Has Never Been About Happy Endings
The game’s organizers in Squid Game season 2 introduce a new rule that allows players to vote on whether they wish to continue after every game. If the majority of players vote in favor of quitting the game, the accumulated money will be split between all contestants. However, the greedy ones who wish to continue the games always end up outnumbering the ones who want to leave in Squid Game season 2. Owing to this, it seems likely that very few players will eventually survive the death games.

Jun-hee Was Also A Victim Of Myung-gi’s Crypto Scheme
As Squid Game season 2 reveals, Jun-hee was dating Myung-gi when he was running a successful YouTube channel.
