From bustling metropolises like Castelia City to expansive wildernesses like the Crimson Mirelands, there is a massive variety of locations for players to visit and explore. Every player will have their favorite place they would like to visit, though it is quite clear that some locations stand out more than others.
With a franchise consisting of thirty-eight mainline games, there are many incredible sights to see in the Pokémon world. With every game that comes out, the locations have continued to get even bigger and even more detailed. There are numerous trees surrounding the entire area, with leaves blowing in the gentle breeze to create a serene atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the grandness and beauty of the White Forest is entirely dependent on how many other people are present there. A player could arrive at the White Forest and be greeted with a grand, bustling small village full of life, or a nearly barren landscape with hardly any people or Pokémon to find. Regardless of whatever state one finds this place in, it is undeniable just how beautiful this exclusive location is.

Water Glittering With Terastal Crystals
Found at Oni Mountain in Kitakami, the Crystal Pool is a large area of water that’s full of glittering crystals similar to the ones that can be found in Area Zero. The water is illuminated to be a vivid turquoise color, with a quaint little bridge going over it to allow visitors to travel over a small part of it. It ultimately looks like just one of many spots in Kitakami that would make for some fantastic photographs.

On top of its appealing Japanese aesthetic, the abundant nature that surrounds the city truly helps add to its overall appeal, making it appear like a very pleasant and peaceful place to live.

The Flower Paradise is located in the Sinnoh region, where the player is able to find the adorable mythical Pokémon Shaymin. The area is a massive field of multi-colored flowers, covering the land in a massive expanse of yellows, blues, and purples that are immediately eye-catching. It is truly the perfect location for a Pokémon like Shaymin to reside, reflecting its very friendly and peaceful nature.

Found in Pokémon X and Y, Lumiose is the largest city in the Kalos Region with so much for players to explore. Its quaint, beautiful architecture is a great reflection of the French city of Paris which it’s based on, adding to the overall appeal and giving the city a truly unique aesthetic.
The biggest standout, however, is absolutely the Prism Tower, which is the Pokémon world’s equivalent to the Eiffel Tower.

The numerous stylish buildings throughout the city contain numerous useful services, including a boutique, café, and more. Combined with the stunning waterfront view to the north, the city as a whole seems very lovely and pleasant to live in.
What makes Anistar City a major standout is the Anistar Sundial that can be found in the northern portion of the city. This massive structure is made of large pink crystals that shimmer in the light, with a quaint little garden surrounding it. This, combined with such a beautiful view of the water behind it, it’s no wonder that it’s designated as one of the many great photo spots throughout the Kalos region.

Mysterious Realms That Are Strangely Beautiful
The realm of Ultra Space is full of numerous wormholes that can take the player to other dimensions, with many of them appearing quite weird and unusual. However, even with the strangeness of it all, some of these alternate worlds can actually hide some oddly beautiful scenery. Nowhere is this more present than in the realms known as Ultra Deep See and Ultra Desert, which are the homes of Nihilego and Pheramosa respectively.

Ultra Deep Sea is as equally unsettling as it is beautiful, due to it resembling a massive undersea floor complete with numerous caves as well as colorful rocks that resemble strange underwater flora. The Ultra Desert, on the other hand, consists of a massive desert full of rocky structures that are covered in glittering blue crystals. Despite the strangeness of it all, these worlds still manage to contain elements that make them beautiful and unique, and it’s a shame that the Pokémon franchise hasn’t included more of them since.

Ballonlea is one of the most striking cities in Pokémon Sword and Shield, as it resembles something straight out of a fairy tale. The entire city is completely surrounded by massive trees and glowing mushrooms of various colors, painting the entire area in vibrant lights that give off an almost mystical aura. All of this is incredibly fitting considering the fact that Ballonlea is home to the Fairy-type gym in the Galar region.

This small city is surely one of the most memorable and visually striking areas in the Sword & Shield games. Considering the fact that one cannot help but be filled with both wonder and awe as they explore this place, its sheer beauty simply cannot be denied.

One of the biggest mysteries in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was undoubtedly Area Zero, and its underdepths are truly a sight to behold. It is a massive cavern that is full of large clusters of sparkling Terastal crystals, including a large crystalized tree, which serves to perfectly align with Terapagos and its design. Spanning over twenty-five years, Pokemon, known as Pocket Monsters in Japan, is the multimedia franchise created jointly by Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures.
