Two days before the award show’s various actors gather at the Globes, the “Best Performances” issue broke the Internet, which, according to the magazine’s press release, “emphasizes film’s top stars.” Each cover was shot by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Jolie kicked off the collection on a dramatic note, wearing nothing but a large feather hat Balenciaga Couture.
