Not only does the building convey Shen’s love of the anime, he had another noble goal in mind when constructing the home. Shen hoped the home would increase tourism in the area where his family sheep farm was located.

The community was very grateful for Shen’s contribution, not just because of the increased tourism and thus, extra revenue, the building brought to the city, but because of its beauty.
