Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Diana Cruz has been struggling with Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher all season, and she’s finally calling Daisy out for her poor performance amid producer plant allegations. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has been difficult for everyone involved, but Daisy has had an especially tough time throughout the season. While she’s been struggling in her relationship with former friend Gary King, Daisy’s professionalism has slipped as she’s worked with Diana and her fellow stew Danni Warren throughout the charter season. With little control over her stews, Daisy has been accused of stirring the pot purposely.
While Diana and Danni have been coming for Daisy on screen all season long, they’ve been presenting a more unified front in recent Below Deck Sailing Yacht episodes and have made it clear outside of the series that they’re not interested in repairing what’s broken. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Diana explained that she feels Daisy’s unprofessional attitude made it impossible for her to do her job. “In my opinion, she was a little bit dramatic…but she called us dramatic all season,” Diana shared, going on to call Daisy “unfocused” and “unorganized” throughout the charter season.
What Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Diana’s Callout Means For Daisy’s Future
Daisy May Not Return To Below Deck
Although Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has been difficult for Daisy as she’s moved through the charter season and made tough relationships with both Diana and Danni, it’s clear that she’s been trying to keep herself professional throughout. Daisy’s time on BDSY has been notable for nearly extending through the show’s entire run, as she’s been part of the last four seasons of the series. Daisy’s professionalism has always been top-tier, but something about her personal issues mixed with Diana and Danni’s insubordinate attitudes has been more difficult for her to handle than ever before.

While Diana and Danni are open about their issues with Daisy, they haven’t been acknowledging their part in the drama of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Even so, it’s been difficult for Daisy to work comfortably aboard Parsifal III with everything going on behind the scenes. As she’s moved through this season, it’s clear that Daisy either needs a break from the series or needs to move on with her career. As she’s worked with the rest of the crew, Daisy’s had a hard time performing her own job, let alone delegating the work properly for her fellow stews.
Our Take On Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Daisy’s Poor Performance
She’s Been Accused Of Being A Producer Plant
As Diana and Danni have been more open about their issues with their supervisor, things for Daisy have been crumbling around her. Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, Daisy has been called out for potentially being a producer plant, or being pushed to stir the pot by Below Deck producers. While it’s not the most likely scenario, Daisy’s behaving so far outside of her usual character that it seems possible she’s being pushed to do things that don’t align with her values. With Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5’s charter coming to an end soon, Daisy may not return.
