South Korea’s transport ministry said on Saturday that the black box on the Jeju plane that crashed did not record the last four minutes of the flight.
All but two of the 181 passengers and crew on board the Boeing 737-800 were killed when it landed at Muan Airport on December 29.
Black boxes in airplanes record the pilots’ conversations in the cockpit, as well as some flight data.
