Below Deck Down Under season 3 is coming soon, and the cast of the series is full of brand-new faces that viewers are eager to get to know throughout the charter season. Throughout the run of the Below Deck franchise, the spin-offs that have come from the series have been praised by viewers for taking the original idea and giving it a whole new flair. Premiering in 2022, Below Deck Down Under is the Australian spin on the long-time series, taking superyacht charters full of luxurious guests out to sail around the waters of the beautiful coastline.
Below Deck Down Under’s original cast, which featured Captain Jason Chambers and Chief Stew Aesha Scott, brought together a franchise’s favorite pair in Jason and Aesha. Captain Jason was new to the franchise, but Aesha had appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean as a stew in the past and was beloved for her wit and ability. Aesha was able to work well in her new role as Chief Stew, setting herself up for success, while Captain Jason’s charm grounded the series. With Aesha leaving, the cast of Below Deck Down Under season 3 has a lot to live up to.
Jason Chambers
Captain
Although Captain Jason has been the long-time leader of Below Deck Down Under, viewers are excited to see him in a whole new element this season. With nearly 25 years in the yachting industry, Captain Jason knows exactly what he’s doing and expects his crew to be able to work well with each other and for their charter guests. With a whole new crew, Captain Jason may have to adjust his expectations a bit, but he’ll certainly continue to be the charming, effervescent Captain that viewers have come to love throughout his time in the franchise.
Tzarina Mace-Ralph
Chef
As the Chef from Below Deck Down Under season 2, Tzarina Mace-Ralph is one of the few cast members who will be returning to the series from last season. Tzarina has roughly five years in the yachting industry according to Bravo, though the last season of the series would lend to her being a superyacht chef for far longer than just five years. While Tzarina is one of the more relaxed parts of the Below Deck Down Under crew, her passion is undeniable in the galley. She serves incredible meals and shows off her sense of humor in the process.
Wihan Du Toit
Bosun
A new crew member aboard the superyacht crew for Below Deck Down Under season 3, Wihan Du Toit is originally from Paarl, South Africa. With roughly a decade in the yachting industry, Wihan is expected as the Bosun to know the ins and outs of everything to do with the exterior of the vessel. Working in close quarters with Captain Jason to ensure the charters are going smoothly, Wihan will be a crucial part of the crew as the charter season continues on. Leading the deckhands, Wihan will have to show off his managerial skills, too.
Lara Rigby
Chief Stew
As the leader of the interior department, Below Deck Down Under season 3’s Chief Stew Lara Rigby knows that she has some incredibly large shoes to fill this season. Replacing Aesha won’t be an easy task, but Lara’s experience in the yachting industry trumps Aesha’s by a few years. With 14 years in the industry, Lara knows her way around a superyacht and has had experience managing an interior team in the past, which bodes well for her as the new Chief Stew. Originally from England, Lara’s british sensibility should help her navigate through a potentially difficult charter season.
Anthony Bird
Sous-Chef
Although not many Below Deck seasons have featured one in the past, Below Deck Down Under season 3 will feature a sous-chef to assist Chef Tzarina throughout the charter season. Chef Anthony Bird will be joining the crew as an assistant to Chef Tzarina, and hopefully to learn the ropes of working aboard a superyacht. Anthony has 5 years in the yachting industry, and his skills will be tested throughout the charter season, but he’s surely hopeful that he’ll build a good rapport with both the Below Deck Down Under season 3 crew and Chef Tzarina during his time aboard.
Harry Van Vliet
Deckhand
As a returning cast member on Below Deck Down Under season 3, Harry Van Vliet knows what to expect when coming into the charter season. Having worked hard aboard Northern Sun during Below Deck Down Under season 2, Harry knows how chaotic Below Deck superyachts can get. Throughout the last season, Harry was able to show a sense of responsibility that not many of the other exterior crew members were able to achieve.

In returning to Below Deck Down Under, it’s clear that Harry hopes to continue honing his skills and make more relationships in the industry to help with his future endeavors. Harry had a tough time in moments on Below Deck Down Under season 2, especially during the fallout of the sexual harassment of his close friend Margot Sisson by disgraced deckhand Luke Jones. This season, Harry’s surely hoping things stay mellow.
Johnny Arvanitis
Deckhand
Deckhand Johnny Arvanitis is a new face on Below Deck Down Under season 3, but he appears to have a good handle on what he’s doing when it comes to navigating a superyacht. As a part of the exterior time, Johnny will work beneath Bosun Wihan and alongside fellow deckhand Harry. With 9 years in the yachting industry, Johnny should come into the charter season with a great handle on what he’s supposed to be doing. Originally from Athens, Greece, the deckhand will be able to bring a different flare to the exterior team, and hopefully won’t cause much drama.
Adair Werley
Deckhand
Another deckhand aboard the charter for Below Deck Down Under season 3, Adair Werley has the least experience of anyone on the exterior team. As the only female deckhand on the crew with just two years of experience, it’s likely that Adair will have to work much harder than her Below Deck Down Under counterparts to get the same sense of respect, but she seems prepared to do what it takes to succeed. Originally from the nation of Georgia, Adair seems like she has the understanding to come into the charter prepared, and will hopefully be a great crew asset.
Brianna Duffield
Stew
One of the stews aboard the superyacht, Brianna Duffield is coming to Below Deck Down Under with just two years of experience in the yachting industry. Working beneath Chief Stew Lara, Brianna will be doing her best to serve the guests as needed and keep the vessel in order. While Brianna, who’s originally from a small town in southern New Jersey, is definitely a ways out of her comfort zone, she’s certainly hopeful that she’ll be able to succeed during her time on Below Deck Down Under so she can return to the crew next season.
Marina Marcondes de Barros
Stew
As the other stew aboard the Below Deck Down Under season 3 superyacht, Marina Marcondes de Barros is hoping that she’ll be a major asset to the interior team. Working alongside Brianna and beneath Chief Stew Lara, Marina will be doing her best to provide great service to the guests and ensure that the superyacht is kept in order from charter to charter. With 4 years of experience working in the yachting industry, Marina should be one of the more capable members of Below Deck Down Under season 3’s crew.
Below Deck Down Under premieres on Monday, February 3 at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
