The private educational institution Cambridge School of Bucharest will return to its headquarters in the neo-Renaissance historical monument in the center of Bucharest, where Princess Martha Bibescu grew up, after the owners of the school, known for establishing the most large pharmacy chain in Romania. , bought the building, at auction, from the descendants of Fathi Taher, according to Profit.ro sources from the real estate market.
The MT Property company, which owns the Lahovary mansion in Dorobanti, went into reorganization in 2017 and went bankrupt in 2022, after the death of Fathi Taher. During the bankruptcy proceedings, the building was sold at the starting price of 6.35 million euros to Mancinis Romania.
