At least six people died and 31 others were injured in a fire at a hotel in a ski resort in northwestern Turkey, state broadcaster TRT said on Tuesday, citing Reuters.
The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the 11-story hotel in the Bolu Kartalkaya ski resort around 3:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday. Firefighters were still working in the morning to put out the flames, Bolu Governor Abdulaziz Aydin told TRT.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but authorities will investigate, the governor said. At the time of the fire, 234 people were staying at the hotel.
