One of the newest characters in the DC Universe characters, who many believed to be dead, gets a clarifying status from James Gunn.
Following the airing of Creature Commandos season 1, it was unclear what had happened to Clayface following his encounter with the team that left many to think he was now dead. However, as Gunn got asked about this plot point on BSky, the DC Studios co-CEO confirmed the following about the iconic Batman villain:
Gunn stressed that the “reports of Clayface’s death have been greatly exaggerated” while also jokingly noting that the DC foe is “quite mushy though.” At the time of this story’s publication, it is still undetermined which Clayface was used from the comics in Creature Commandos season 1.
